There are promises you make alone, in silence. And there are promises you make on the same day as someone else, without telling each other what you wrote.
Silent Vow is the second kind. Two identical boxes. Two identical pieces. Two envelopes, sealed on the same evening, at the same table, with the same wax seal. Each writes their own promise. Neither reads the other’s.
It is not a couples’ object. It is an object of covenant — between two lovers, two sisters, two friends who went through something that is not told. It can be a business pact, if you make it seriously.
A year later, you open the envelopes together. What you wrote matters less than the fact that both of you kept it. We engrave both dates, on the same day, on the reverse of both pieces.
